i almost gave this place a good review, but the picture on the site was so deceiving, and the hill was just an absolute nightmare! And do not even get me started on the showers. they were very difficullt to use. I expected a room upgrade for my trouble, but clearly that was too much to ask!

Room was large and offered an incredible view of surrounding snow-capped mountains from the balcony. The hotel’s location on higher ground provided a unique perspective of the area.
The steep hill leading to the hotel made for a challenging walk, especially for those with limited mobility. Some facilities felt underwhelming, and the breakfast buffet could use a wider selection to cater to various tastes.

Enjoyed a delightful week at Hotel Sonne, where attentive staff made sure all needs were met. The ski boot room and cozy bar added a nice touch. Although the swimming pool area felt slightly unbalanced with the spa, the overall ambiance provided a warm escape after a day on the slopes.

Hotel Sonne provided an excellent atmosphere for my recent business trip. The staff was exceptional, especially Marzia and Paola at the reception, who ensured my stay was comfortable. The room was well-appointed and had a stunning view of the garden, enhancing the working experience. the electric cars for ski stations and the rental delivery service further contributed to the convenience of my stay.

Amazing stay with friendly staff!
Just spent 8 nights in Zermatt. The unreal ski boot room made mornings a breeze. Loved the outdoor jacuzzi with a view of the winter wonderland! Had half board, and while the chicken was overcooked a couple of nights, the in-room breakfast was awesome! Highly recommend.
